Sit down and fix it
To the Editor,
Re: letter to the editor, “Gotcha politics,” Haliburton Echo, March 15
Thank you, Laura Redman for your very thoughtful letter in this week’s Echo, I agree with you. Why would the township waste money on lawyers and court costs instead of sorting out the problems. Give Haliburton Forest time to improve, fix the problems, fine him and put the money in the bank.
In the more than 30 years I have turned the corner onto Redkenn Drive I have observed the yearly increase in workers, tourists from all over the world, students, teachers, cyclists, snowmobilers and visitors – in fact more daily and year around action there than any other tourist attraction in the county. More people must be good for our economy.
Sit down together please and fix it – the community will benefit.
