Thank you for the article about pianos at the cottage! It proved nostalgic for me. My grandfather, Wilton Morse, had one at his cottage, which he built in the 1920s on Kashagawigamog. He spent every summer there until he sold in 1944.

The recently constructed Junction Skateboard Park has become a wonderful facility providing an excellent outdoor activity for kids and youth of the community. We live close by and were able to watch the skill and care that was put into its construction.

The Haliburton Highlands Land Trust is pleased to say we had sold 112 tickets to our Aug. 10 Rock Our World fundraising dance at the Haliburton Legion. Great considering this was kind of a new concept for us and a new venue.
