Published June 7, 2018

PC candidate Laurie Scott reclaimed her seat in Queen's Park Thursday evening. With election results rolling in at a rapid pace, CBC called the riding for Scott by 9:30 p.m.

As of 10 p.m. with 64 of 99 polls reporting, Scott had 55 per cent of the votes with more than 22,000 votes. The NDP candidate, Zac Miller, came in second with nearly 27 per cent of the vote. Liberal Brooklynne Cramp-Waldinsperger received just more than 10 per cent of the vote.

NDP candidate Zac Miller said he respected the voters' decision, though he had obviously hoped for a different result.
