Our special guest for the 10th Annual Women’s Day Together has been compared to the famous actress and comedienne, Lucille Ball. We’re in for a treat! Michelle Sim’s “keen and zany sense of humour” will surely entertain, but she is also authentic and able to stir up faith, passion and purpose in the hearts of her listeners. In addition to being a wise and energetic motivational speaker, Michelle is also an author and a singer. In “My Son, My Gift... Living with Autistic Spectrum Disorder,” Michelle tells the story of her son, Paul. Although Paul is “not what I had originally hoped for,” Michelle now sees him as a gift from God and the reason she has become an “I choose to” person. In “Adventures with Jesus, Yikes!” Michelle takes a humorous look at both the simplicity and complexity of life. Michelle Sim is also an ordained pastor and founder of Northern Praise Ministries. She has written four plays, two Bible College courses, and recorded four cds. Michelle's theme, "Time To Grow Up!" is based on 1 Corinthians 13:11 in the Bible, “When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child.
