Thank you for the article about pianos at the cottage! It proved nostalgic for me. My grandfather, Wilton Morse, had one at his cottage, which he built in the 1920s on Kashagawigamog. He spent every summer there until he sold in 1944.

The recently constructed Junction Skateboard Park has become a wonderful facility providing an excellent outdoor activity for kids and youth of the community. We live close by and were able to watch the skill and care that was put into its construction.

Just wanted to let the community know that the recent Haliburton Lions Polar Bear Plunge was a huge success raising over $7,700 for the two hospitals. Our Haliburton Hospital was pledged $4,359 and The Hospital for Sick Children was pledged $3,415.
