By Darren Lum

The Red Hawks varsity B field hockey team went undefeated (1-2-0), but the lone win wasn’t enough to win the Turkey Tournament in Haliburton on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
North Hastings High School Huskies junior squad finished first in the exhibition tournament undefeated (2-1-0) record. The event included the Holy Cross Hurricanes and the St. Thomas Aquinas Titans. Red Hawks goalkeeper Sydney Cameron played all three games, allowing just one goal. HHSS forward Sydney Feir led her team with four goals followed by teammate Shea MacNaull, three, Alicia McLean, two, and Connor Marsden, one.
