Police have arrested two local men and one man from Severn Township following a drug bust on Murdoch Road in Minden Hills.

Local police alongside officers from several specialized units recovered 73 marijuana plants, five pounds of marijuana, a handgun, large quantities of OxyContin, Percocet, marijuana resin and other prescription medication on Thursday, Sept. 6.

A press release from the OPP says the drugs seized were worth $92,000.

Upon further investigation, police found an outdoor grow operation.

They also seized more than $5,000 in cash and a 2001 BMW SUV.

Charged is a 43-year-old man from Minden Hills, a 46-year-old man from Dysart et al and a 39-year-old man from Severn Township.

All were charged with production of marijuana; possession for the purpose of trafficking; unauthorized possession of a firearm; careless use of a firearm; possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
