A Haliburton man was charged with drunk driving after hitting a hydro pole in town.

The 37-year-old was charged with impaired driving after his car struck the pole on Pine Street around 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16.

He will appear in Minden court Oct. 3 to deal with the charges.
