Police have charged a 63-year-old man with impaired driving after pulling him over in a RIDE program July 14 at 10:30 p.m. near Kushog Lake.

The man, who is from Algonquin Highlands, will appear in Minden court on Aug. 1 to deal with the charges.

A 25-year-old Minden man was charged with possessing drugs and driving with a suspended licence July 15.

Police pulled the man over during a RIDE program on Davis Lake Road in Minden Hills around 2 a.m.

They noticed the drugs in the vehicle and charged the man with possessing marijuana and three counts of driving while under suspension. He will appear in Minden court on Sept. 5 to deal with the charges.
