The police are looking for a suspicious man.

On July 12, the Haliburton Highlands detachment of the OPP was contacted in regards to the theft of an all terrain vehicle (ATV) from the Minden Hills area. Police continue to investigate this incident and are attempting to locate a suspicious man, who police believe may be involved in numerous criminal offences in the area.

Police suspect that the man has been involved in crimes including break and enters, vehicle thefts and boat thefts. It is believed that the male may be camping in the woods within the Minden Hills area.

The OPP ask anyone who may have seen this person to contact the police immediately at 1-888-310-1122. At the same time, police ask that you do not approach the suspicious person.
