A 26-year-old Parry Sound man was charged with impaired driving Sunday.

After stopping his car in a RIDE program check on Highway 118 July 8 around midnight, OPP noticed the man had been drinking.

They charged him with several offenses including impaired driving, driving with liquor open in the car, not wearing a seatbelt and having no licence.

He will appear in Minden court on Aug. 1 to deal with charges.
