Bancroft OPP charged a 22-year-old man from North Kawartha Township with impaired driving on Saturday following a car collision.

Police provided little information about the collision itself, other than it was at 12:27 a.m. May 19 on McGillvray Road in Highlands East.

The man's Ford pickup truck was in the collision.

As a result, Bancroft OPP charged the man with impaired driving, driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood, driving with no insurance and driving with a suspended licence.

He will appear in Bancroft court on June 26 to deal with the charges.
